Orville H. Copsey Jr., 88, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. Orville was born Hartford City, Indiana on October 8, 1931 to the late Mary B. (Harrold) and Orville H. Copsey Sr.. In the third grade, Orville met the love of his life Carrie Ann (Johnson) Copsey. They were married on February 10, 1957; Carrie preceded his death on March 3, 2020. After serving as an Army medic, Orville attended Indiana University where he earned a degree in social work followed by a law degree from Chicago Kent Law School. He spent his 40 year career handling insurance claims at CNA Financial in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He is survived by: his children, Carol A. Logsdon of Indianapolis and Roger N. Copsey of Martinsville; his grandchildren, Linsei M. Geveden of Indianapolis, Kathryn N. Copsey of Plainfield, Zoey L. Logsdon of Indianapolis, and Jonathon C. Copsey of Plainfield; he was also survived by one great-grandchild, Aubrey.
