Orveta “Pete” Krajnik, 92, of Nampa, went home to be with her Lord In the early morning of Thursday Nov. 21, 2019.

 On Dec 29, 1926 a baby girl was born to Roy and Beulah Simmons in Nampa, Idaho where she attended Lone Star Elementary and Nampa High School. On Oct 09, 1943 she married the love of her life Ed Krajnik. They had a loving marriage of seventy-six years. They worked together on their farm in the vicinity of the Karcher Mall. Moving later to a farm south of Nampa off of Deer Flat. After retiring they built their dream home on the hill overlooking Lake Lowe on Rim Rd. From that marriage came two children, Lana Grimmett (Krajnik) and Gary Krajnik. Mom was a league bowler where she became one of the top five bowlers in Nampa. She loved painting and belonged to the art Guild of Nampa. She was a long-time member of the Bennett club where she baked lots of pies for farm auctions. Ed and Orveta enjoyed their friends’ playing cards and traveling with the Gem Sprouts Chapter of Good Sams. They enjoyed camping and fishing whenever possible. In the winter they took time to travel the states and abroad.

            Orveta is survived by her husband, Ed Krajnik; her children, Lana Grimmett and Gary and Pam Krajnik; six grandchildren, Kelly Murrey(Matt), Kevin Braithwait, Mike Krajnik (Jennifer), Jodie Skaug (Ben), Sara Dixon, Amy Colo(Rob); 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Velma Sanders and Earl Simmons and a niece and nephew, Darlene Kennel and Dennis “Moose” Murray.
