Ms. Orriette Butcher, the daughter of Robert L. Butcher and Audrey I. Hawkins, was born on October 14, 1945. She was a native of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Ms. Butcher was raised a Christian, she loved and worshiped our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was a medical assistant and a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant). She worked with pediatrics and seniors. Upon her retirement after a number of years of nurturing, she cared for hospice patients. She was a creative writer, artist, and a very unique individual. She loved many, and always had a smile on her face. Orriette had two daughters, and she gained a third daughter upon her marriage to James H. Little.
Orriette Butcher departed this earthly life on May 24, 2019, at the age of seventy-three years five months and ten days. Her grandmother, Georgia Cash; daughter, Reginnia D. Harwell; grandson Joseph L. Stockdale, Jr.; nephew, Rico L. Hawkins and niece, Nickiea Hawkins, all preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Jacqueline R. Collins; stepdaughter, Cassandra M. Little; grandsons, Darryl C. Leach, Jr. and Darren C. Collins; sister, Mariecia J. Hawkins; brothers, Latelle L. Butcher, Lynn E. Hawkins, and Ronnie J. Hawkins; uncle, Garrell Cash; aunt, Deloris Cash; great-grandchildren, DaReese Stockdale, Daquez Stockdale, Gionnia Stockdale, and Aileen Stockdale, a host of nieces and nephews, other beloved family and many friends.
