Orpha Etchison, 93, of Maryville, TN passed away on June 19, 2017.
She was born on June 30, 1923 in Anderson, Indiana where she resided until moving to Tennessee to be near family. She worked at Yesterday’s Drive-In and various area restaurants and was active in the Rural Carriers Auxillary.
Orpha is survived by her daughter, Sherry Hendricks; daughter-in-law, Judy Westrater; sister, Betty King; grandchildren, Norma O’Connor (fiancé’ Larry Gorman), Jack (Sonya) Hendricks, Dan (Marie) Hendricks, Susie (Chad) Marner, Vickie Westrater, Melissa (Randy) Yates, Travis Westrater, Jen (Dan) Boden; 20 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Jenny Moon, and Penny Smith.
She was preceded in death by husband of 36 years, Lorne Etchison; son, Jerry Westrater; parents, William and Iris (Heiny) Westrater; siblings, Bob (Phyllis) Westrater, William Westrater, Jr., Rosemary Bright, Maxine Lewis, Morris Brattain and grandson, Steven W. Biddle.
