Orinda Pereira Streeto, age 74, of West Haven died Thursday June 23, 2011 at the Hospital of St. Raphael with her loving family by her side. For 52 years she was the devoted wife of Edward A. Streeto Sr. Loving mother of Edward A. Streeto Jr., and Lisa and her husband Joseph Pirolo all of West Haven. Beloved grandmother of Olivia Grace Pirolo, her pride and joy. Sister of Gloria (Antonio) Pereira, Alzira (Dominick) Reis and Mary “CiCi” (Antonio Gabriel) Cunha all of West Haven and Olivia (Manuel) Tavares of Westerly, RI. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by an infant brother Diamantino Pereira. She was born in Chaves, Portugal January 12, 1937, daughter of the late Joao Dias and Elvira Leite Pereira. She was employed by Sargent Manufacturing until her retirement in 2002. She also worked as a seamstress at Mode Manufacturing and other dress shops.
