Oralia Cruz Fernandez, age 79, entered into eternal rest peacefully May 2, 2018 at Veranda Healthcare Facility surrounded by the love of family.She was born April 19, 1939 in Harlingen, TX to Nicolas Cruz and Natalia Ramirez Cruz. Oralia was a lifelong resident of the Harlingen-Combes area. She was co-owner, and the office manager of the family business, Arturo Fernandez Plumbing Service. Oralia was a very caring and sympathetic woman of faith. She was a devout catholic, member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church & St. Anthony Catholic Church, she loved reading her bible and would recite the holy rosary on a daily basis. Oralia, also enjoyed watching movies, enjoyed traveling, and she loved to dance. She was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her children’s well being & their education.She leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory her adoring children, Isabel Fernandez Mendoza (Eddie), Elvia Mercado (Jose Luis), Alicia Fernandez Campfield (Van), Armando Fernandez (Rosie), Javier Fernandez (Teresa), Richard Fernandez (Becky), 15 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, nephew, Armando Villegas and niece, Dolia Villegas.Oralia is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Arturo Rios Fernandez, sons, Ernesto Arturo Fernandez Jr., Infant sons, Alberto, David Fernandez and her sister, Benita Villegas.
