He was born on April 8, 1955 in Henry County, VA to Cassell Jackson of Martinsville, VA and the late Annie Frances Gilbert Jackson. Mr. Jackson attended Valley Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Axton, VA. He was the former owner/operator of Jackson Grocery (Mountain Valley) Axton, VA and was a Rainbow Vacuum Distributor for 23 years. Surviving are his wife, Brenda McDowell Jackson of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Dora Snoddy and Channing Snoddy of Palmyra, VA, Virginia Knight of Louisa, VA, Emily Kendrick and Garry Kendrick of Martinsville, VA and Jessica McGee and Derek McGee of Cascade, VA; sisters, Dee Jones of Martinsville, VA, Iona McGuire and Mavis Rigney both of Axton, VA; brother, Darrell Jackson of Axton, VA and grandchildren, Kaila Knight, Justin Knight, Kent Snoddy, Adrianna Snoddy, Savannah Kendrick, Blake McGee and Carrington Kendrick.
