Ora O. Gressley, 93, Huntington, IN died at 5:30 p.m. on Monday July 5, 2010 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN Mr. Gressley was born on June 21, 1917 in Huntington County to John and May (Dubbs) Gressley. His parents preceded him in death. Mr. Gressley married Viola Biddle on June 26, 1937.
Viola preceded him in death January 21, 2010. Ora graduated from Huntington High School in 1936. Mr. Gressley retired as a yard conductor from Erie Lackawanna-Conrail Railroad. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and a member of the United Transportation Union, and Cum Double Sunday School Class.
Survivors include: three sons: Larry (Teresa) Gressley Wabash, IN., Ronald (Phyllis) Gressley, Huntington and Robert “”Bob”” (Karen) Gressley, Huntington, IN, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Everett Gressley, and a sister: Mabel Hamm.
