Mrs. Opal Phillips, age 90, passed away Wednesday, Decmeber 10, 2014, at Pine Knoll Nursing Home in Carrollton, Ga. She was retired from Bibb Manufacturing Company and was a lifetime member of Arnco Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, David E. Phillps, and daughter, Jackie Phillips. Survivors include son, Barry (Brenda) Phillips; grandchildren, Brandon (Dawn) Phillips, Lauren Phillips, and Josh Phillips; great – grandchildren, Tyler Mendoza, Bradley Mendoza, and Lyla Grace Phillips; and special niece, Bobbie Robinson.
