Opal B. Eichor, 97, of Guthrie Center, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at the New Homestead Health Care Center in Guthrie Center.
Opal Belle Harkins was born on July 13, 1909, the daughter of Phil and Ola (Bond) Harkins.
Opal grew up in Menlo, Iowa, and attended Menlo schools. On June 26, 1927, she was married to Hugh Eichor in Menlo, Iowa. Together they lived on a farm east of Casey until moving to town in 1951.
