Onita W. Johnson, 77, of Freeport, died Saturday, March 19, 2005, at Freeport Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.Born April 2, 1927 in Jackson, Tennessee she was the daughter of Allen and Ethel (Murray) Threadgill.
She married Steve Johnson and he preceded her in death.She was a beautician for many years.
Surviving is her son, Michael (Andrea) Walker; grandson, Josh Walker both of Cordova, TN; 3 brothers, James (Bernice) Chatman of Jackson, TN, Reverend Charles (Octavia) Threadgill of Rockford, and Joe (Katie) Threadgill of Freeport; 4 sisters, Sally M. Nichols of Rockford, Corrine Curry of Jackson, TN, Ernestine Addison of Rockford, and Mary (Henry) Carter of Freeport; special friends, Mr. & Mrs. Elmer and Karen Pehl of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers; 1 sister.
