Muncie – Olive L. Hay, 96, passed away March 13, 2011, at her residence following a brief illness.

Olive was born in Salt Lick, Kentucky on June 15, 1914, the daughter of Robert Tyler and Mary Ann McFarland, and attended Buck Creek County, Kentucky Schools.

Mrs. Hay was a Dietitian in the Ball State University Health Center for twenty years until her retirement in 1978.

Survivors include two sons, Virgil Kenton Hay, (wife-Leslie), Cedar Park, Texas, and Forrest Wayne Hay, (fiancé-Karen Pittman), Muncie; a daughter Brenda Leonard, (husband-Bennie J.), Muncie; four grandchildren, Angelia Nibarger, (husband-Jeff), Yorktown, April Liby, (husband-Allen), Muncie, Staci Hay, Jacksonville, Florida, and Stephanie Erdman, Longmont, Colorado; five great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Becky Hay, Naples, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-seven years, Virgil Hay; a son, Roger Allen Hay; eleven brothers and sisters; and a grandchild, Kimberly Hay.
