Olive C. Lohman, 93, formerly of Johnsonville, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007, in Phoebe Slate Belt Nursing Home in Bangor. She was the wife of Elwood W. Lohman who died in 1986. Born in North Bangor, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lettie (Shook) Stouse. Before retiring in 1977, she was employed by various apparel factories in the Bangor area. She was an active and life long member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Johnsonville. She was an avid gardener and loved baking. She was a loving mother, grandmother and Aunt. Survivors: her daughter Sandra J. Szabo and her husband Eugene of Fountain Hill; son Larry D. Lohman and his companion Marie of Green Valley, Ariz.; grandchildren Lori Karaska and her husband Carl and Denise Verrastro and her husband Tony; great-grandsons Rob, Hunter and Reed. She was preceded in death by her sister Gladys Ott.
