Olga Rigoni, of Sawyer, Michigan died Wednesday morning, April 22, 2009 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, Michigan City, Indiana. Olga was born August 31, 1916 to John and Elizabeth Simovic in Chicago, Illinois and moved with her family to Stevensville when she was three years old.

On September 6, 1947 she married Christy Rigoni in Chicago. Olga was a homemaker and excellent seamstress who made many of her own clothes. She enjoyed all kinds of crafts, puzzles, cooking and dancing. Olga also liked playing Bingo and going to the casino. Olga was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sawyer.

Olga is survived by her husband, Christy Rigoni; daughter, Karen (Corey) Paraf of Summit, Illinois; grandchildren Donald Smith of Los Angeles, California and Krystal Smith of Chicago Ridge, Illinois; niece, Susan (Steve) Shearer and nephew Alan (Pam) Havlicek. Olga was preceded in death by her parents, brothers John and Emil, and sisters Ann Havlicek and Bess Maranto.
