Mrs. Olga Babe (Tershowski) Toftoy, 88, of Ottawa, died Thursday evening at Pleasant View Luther Home in Ottawa. Mrs. Toftoy was born September 10, 1918, in Ottawa to Samuel and Josephine(Zelako)Tershowski.
She married Herbert L. Toftoy on November 9, 1940, in Ottawa. He died on June 27, 1980. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Starved Rock Yacht Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol (Ward) Hall of Leland; two grandchildren, Wade Hall and Kristine Sawyer; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Maccono of Ottawa and Theresa Willet of Ottawa; a brother, John (June) Tershowski of Ottawa.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters, Mary Norton and one in infancy; two brothers, Stephen and Michael Tershowski.
