Brother Varner was an avid reader and served as a Sunday school teacher, parking lot attendant, worked with the Finance Committee for 30 years, and served as a Trustee. He diligently cared for his loving devoted wife, and was always willing to reach out to the less fortunate, disabled, and many sick and shut-in.

Uncle Harding was a consummate outdoor sportsman. He was known to have regularly taken members of the family and his Mt.

In his aging years, his nephew, Billy J. Moreland II, served as his primary caregiver with much love and dedication.

The Lord called Olean Harding Varner from his life journey on Sunday, January 6, 2013. Harding was preceded in death by his wife, Lila Varner; his parents, Olean

and Ethel Varner; brothers, Theadosha, Arthur, Joseph and James; and sister, Willie Mae Watson.
