Odis Mitchell Sapp passed away peacefully at Crestview Rehabilitation Center (CRC) on Saturday, June 14, 2014. He was born Aug. 17, 1922 in Crestview, FL to William B. Sapp and Alcedonia E. Edge.
Survivors include his daughters, Glenda Gordon and husband Jerrell and Sherrie Dewana Johnson and husband Ronnie and son, Michael Sapp of Crestview; seven grandchildren, Shane Gordon, of Cantonment FL, Kristi Oakes and husband Timmy of Milton FL, Damon Johnson and wife Darenda, Scott Sapp and fiancé Susan Parr of Navarre, Brittany Kelly and husband Derek of Waco KY, Rachel McDuffie and husband Joseph and Angela Sapp of Crestview; seven great-grandchildren, Elijah Oakes, Tyler Oakes, Emma Oakes, Rilye Johnson, Radley Johnson and Reese Johnson, Oliver McDuffie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff, CNAs, Physical Therapy, and nurses at CRC. We would especially like to thank our wonderful caregivers, Jean Fortenberry and Teresa Barrow for their loving care of Dad each day.
