Wilma M. Ingram, 89, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Wilma was born on May 17, 1929, in rural Marion County, the daughter of C. Bentley and Bessie (Hays) Sherry.
She was previously married to Pete Ingram, he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Ingram of Hannibal, MO; grandson, Jordan Ingram of Springfield, MO; and nephew Clinton Sherry.
Mrs. Ingram was preceded in death by her father, C. Bentley Sherry; mother, Bessie Hays Sherry Fohey; brother, James Sherry; and nephew, Winton Sherry.
Wilma graduated from Hunnewell High School in 1947. She worked for St. Elizabeth Hospital in the business office and retired from Hannibal Regional Hospital as a cashier.
Wilma was a past member of the Hannibal Chapter 94 Order of Eastern Star. She was a faithful member of the First Christian Church in Hannibal. Wilma had served on the church board, was member of the Disciples Women’s Ministries (CWF), Sew & Sew Club and was a member of the Keystone Sunday School Class.
Wilma’s love was her family and cherished the time spent helping raise her grandson Jordan. In her free time, Wilma enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading and cooking for her family and friends in her younger years.
