Wilma Fern Turnbough Bell, nee Pitts, of Davisville, MO passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in Sullivan at the age of eight-nine. She was born March 4, 1922 in Salem, Missouri to Henry Harrison Pitts and Opal Jeraldine Peters Pitts. She was united in marriage to Louie Turnbough in 1939 and to this union three children were born. She later married Russell Bell.
Wilma was a member of the Cherryville Baptist Church. She retired in October of 1987 from Brown Shoe after working there many years.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters Vicki Brown and husband Jack of Davisville, MO and Dixie Bobbitt of Cherryville, MO; one daughter-in-law Darlene Turnbough of Cherryville, MO; one sister-in-law Bettye Pitts of Ocala, FL; eight grandchildren Steve England, Stacey England, Melody Allen and husband Tim, Jeff Turnbough and wife Tonya, Kip Turnbough and wife Tracey, Paula O’Neail, Lisa Turnbough and husband Glendel and LeAnn Brown; fourteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Gary Turnbough; two brothers Raymond Pitts and Rainey Pitts; one son-in-law Joe Bobbitt.
The Family received friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Honored to casket bearers were Jeff Turnbough, Luke Turnbough, Steve England, Stacey England, Kip Turnbough and Eric O’Neail.
