Wilbert O. Eide, 99, beloved Father, Grandfather, Great and Great-Great Grandfather entered eternal life on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Lutheran Sunset Home in Grafton, ND, with his family by his side.

Wilbert O. Eide was born in Oak Park Township, Marshall County Minnesota on October 29, 1916, the son of Jacob and Clara (Nelson) Eide. He attended country school in Oak Park Township. He met his future wife, Esther Brodahl, at a local barn dance and they were united in marriage on September 25, 1938, at the Zion Lutheran Church Parsonage, Oslo, MN. They celebrated their 75th Wedding Anniversary with family before her passing on February 22, 2014.

Wilbert’s greatest joy in life was his family, garden, carpentry work and fishing. He spent countless hours tending his garden and grooming his lawn. He also kept the Zion Lutheran Church lawn and evergreens well manicured for several years. Over the years, Wilbert and Esther enjoyed traveling to Alaska, Arizona, Norway, Florida, and camping with family.

Survivors include his son Ronald Eide of McAllen, TX; daughter Colleen (Doug) Anderson, of Oslo, MN; and sons Terry Eide of Bemidji, MN; and Donn Eide of Thief River Falls, MN. Grandchildren: Rhonda (Andy) Tibert, Robin (Wayne) Feltman, Dawn (Neal) Feltman, Terry (Kelly) Anderson, Gerri Anderson, Lynette Troy-Eide, Corrie (Danny) Uhlir, Tyler Eide, Christopher (Luanne) Eide, Darren Eide and Trisha Finney. Great Grandchildren: Lee (Angela) Tibert, Audra (Justin) Adams, Kevin Tibert; Austin and Wyatt Feltman; Hillary, Jordan, Madison and Abigail Feltman; Conner, Chase and Kaitlyn Anderson, Jade (Chance) Chambers and Zane McIntyre; Joshua and Hope Liesener, Micah and Grant Uhlir, Courtney (Dave) Moyer, Vanessa and Cody Troy, Amera Eide; Ivana Rouland, Ian Finney. Great-great grandchildren: Blaise Adams, Tyler, Aiden and Aliyah Moyer, Jordan and Mason Troy, Finley Chambers. He is also survived by a sister, Esther Mager of Grand Forks, ND, sister-in-law, Beatrice Eide of Frazee, MN, along with several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, daughter-in-law Opal Eide, Grandson James Troy, four sisters and five brothers.
