Thomas Eugene Walker, 81, of Bourbon, MO, formerly of Steelville, MO passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at St. John’s Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born November 27, 1927 in Steelville to Clyde and Virgie (Clonts) Walker. In July of 1949, he married Bettye Jo Turner in Steelville and to this union two children were born. She preceded him in death in March of 1990. He later married Fairy (Hertel) Bryan Walker in Nashville, TN in January of 1993 and she survives of the home.
He was a member of the Fellowship First Baptist Church in High Ridge. Thomas served his country in the U.S. Army from 1952- 1953. For over fifty years he was a member of the Lebanon Masonic Lodge #77 of Steelville.
Thomas retired in 1993 after many years in electrical manufacturing.
Thomas enjoyed the outdoors and you could find him doing yard work, fishing or gardening.
