Thomas C. Shaw Sr. passed away on October 24, 2018 at the age of 88. He was the beloved husband of Katherine Shaw nee Bova of Defiance, Missouri; He is survived by his five sons, Tim (Jeri) Shaw of Las Vegas, NV, Tom Shaw, Jr. of O’Fallon, MO, John (Sue) Shaw of Wildwood, MO, Adam (Cynthia) Williams of Sunset Hills, MO, Bradley Williams of Defiance, MO; two daughters, Cathy (Bill) Shaw Connely of Wildwood, MO, Debbie (Jim) Shaw Franke of Ellisville, MO; three grandsons, Matthew John (Erin) Shaw, Patrick Shaw, Baby Billy Ray Connely; eight granddaughters, Ravin Williams, Riley Williams, Elizabeth Franke, Alexandra Franke, Elise Williams, Corinne Williams, Sheena Mulhall, Becky Kronauge; great-granddaughter, Millie Ray Mulhall; He is preceded in death by his father, Charles A Shaw, mother, May Shaw nee Sutcliffe, son, Steve Shaw, brother, Charles Major Shaw, brother, Jimmy Shaw, sister, Betty Prouty. Tom was the president of Tom Shaw Realtors founded in 1922 by his father Charles A. Shaw. He enjoyed cutting horses, playing softball and tennis. He was an avid gardener (floral gardening) where he was awarded the Great Garden contest winner by the St. Louis Post Dispatch in 2000. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
