Terry W. Douglas passed away on June 10, 2018 at the age of 76. He was the beloved husband of Katherine LeeAnn Douglas nee Brauchsieker of Troy, Missouri; He is survived by his three daughters, Terri L. (Jesse) Bauer of O’Fallon, MO, Danielle (Steve) Osborn of Belleville, IL, Pam (Johnny) Johnson of Athens, TX; two sons, Jerry Lee Hamilton of Tyler, TX, Scott Hamilton of Tyler, TX; brother, Lewis R. (Carole) Douglas of Chesterfield, MO; seven Grandchildren, Nataleigh (Kyle) Hennen, Lewis (Jacey Boyko) Bauer, Madeline Bauer, Ryan (Tiffany) Johnson, Tiffany (Jerrold) Stitt, Shelbie (Clayton) Sneyd, Stephen Hamilton, Chase Hamilton; three great-grandchildren, Vera Marie Hennen, Rhyder Sneyd, Jerrold Stitt; nephew, Spencer (Jane)Douglas and family; three nieces, Lauren (C.J. ) Capellen and sons, Lindsay (Johnny) Beenes and sons, Emily (Micah) Baize and family; brother-in-law, Leroy (Susan) Braucksieker. He is preceded in death by his wife, Katherine LeeAnn Douglas, father, Lewis A. Douglas, mother, Vera M. Douglas, daughter, Honey Leigh Douglas, sister, Carol Bildner nee Douglas. Terry worked for McDonnell Douglas for 40 plus years, where he worked on the F18 Fighter Jet. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Terry enjoyed raising horses and going on trail rides. He had a great love for his country, being a very patriotic man. On May 28,1998 Terry married LeeAnn Braucksieker, enjoying almost 20 years of marriage. He was LeeAnn’s caretaker when she had fallen ill prior to her passing. He was a great Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. Terry was a genuine, caring, and humble person. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
