Teresa Anna Sofia passed away peacefully at her home in Germantown, MD surrounded by loved ones on September 1st at the age of 88. Born on April 4th, 1934, in Cumberland, Maryland, Teresa Anna (Idoni) Sofia was the daughter of Domenico Maria Idoni and Maria Angela (Torchia) Idoni. She was the youngest of three children and was preceded in death by her husband Antonino (Tony) Sofia, her parents, and her two older brothers Nicholas Idoni Sr. and Frank Idoni Sr.
Teresa met her husband Tony, September 4th, 1955 and married two years later on September 2nd, 1957. Teresa and Tony raised their three children in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Teresa is survived by her three children and their spouses Nino (Fran), Angela (Bill Buckley), Domenico (Jane), 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
