Steve Goldman, 74, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Longwood
Community Living Center. He was born January 24, 1949 in Grenada County to
Stanley and Zada Goldman.
Steve graduated from Thrasher High School in 1967. He attended Northeast
Community College and Ole Miss. Steve was united in marriage to Mary Lowry
Goldman on June 22, 1985.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years Mary (Lowry) Goldman; two sons: Shane
(Jeannie) Goldman of Iuka, MS, Blake (Michelle) Goldman of Cumming, GA; two
brothers: Paul (Dennie) Goldman of Thrasher, MS and Kenny Goldman of
Thrasher, MS; sister-in-law: Sarah Mitchell of Corinth, MS. He was Papa Steve
and Pop Pop to six grandchildren: Jared Goldman of Houston, TX, Katie
(Denzell) Jones of Bay Town, TX, Amber (Kyle) Suitor of Corinth, MS, Hannah
Goldman (fiance Austin) of Guys, TN, Parker and Emmy Goldman of Cumming,
GA. Seven nieces and nephews; sixteen great-nieces and nephews; and two
special girls: Loretta Polanco and Destiny Crunk and his caregiver: Tonya
Lindsey
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Marilyn and Carolyn
Goldman, one brother: David Goldman, and one brother-in-law Lonnie Mitchell.
