Spencer died at his home on June 29th, 2020. Spencer was a son, brother, husband, and grandfather. He was loved by many others.
He met and married his wife, Mary, when he was stationed in Madrid, Spain while in the Air Force. They moved back to Minnesota and spent 47 years married until Mary passed away in October, 2018. He had some great moments in his life, getting married, having a daughter and then a grandson. Everytime he could, he would spend time with his “buddy”, his grandson Riley. Riley meant the world to Spencer.
He is survived by his daughter, Amaya (Brian) Kunkel and his “buddy” (grandson) Riley; his brothers and sisters, Shirley (Bruce) Robbins, Ione Holmgren (Mike Koessler), John (Christy) Olson, Scott (Cathy) Olson, Stuart Olson, Jim Olson; and many nieces and nephews. He is joined in heaven with his wife, Mary; brother, Stephen; sister, Sue; and his parents, Claudia and Alve Olson.
Spencer will be greatly missed by everyone. He is now at peace and back with his love of his life, Mary.
