Sharon Jan Harper Deason, aged 70 passed away on April 8, 2021 at her home in Gautier, Mississippi.
She is survived by her son, Paul Olson (Carrie) and daughter, Shari Hensley (Daniel) as well as her dear grandchildren Nathan and Abigail Olson and Lexi Santana, William Vice and Jerry Hensley. She is further survived by her siblings Taylor Harper (Julie) and Cindy Teate (Gary) and her longtime friend Diana Nelson. She was preceded in death by her husband Don Deason and her parents Joe and Joyce Harper.
Sharon graduated from Mobile County High School and was Senior Class President in 1969. During her high school years Sharon enjoyed singing in the Grand Bay United Methodist Church choir. She also sang with various groups in school and in the community. She attended Huntingdon College. Sharon held a variety of jobs primarily in retail however, her most important role was that of caregiver.
