Sedric Paul Waguespack of Cook Station, Mo. passed away on December 29, 2015 at the Mo. Baptist  Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.  Sedric Waguespack was 71 years, 4 months, and 26 days of age.

Sedric Waguespack was born on August 3, 1944 to his parents, Marcial and Marie Melancon Waguespack in Raceland, Louisana. 

Sedric Waguespack was a loving father, grandfather and friend.  He was a meat cutter for Town and Country Supermarket in Steelville, Mo.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Sedric Waguespack is survived by three sons: Sedric Paul Waguespack II and wife, Kim of Washington, Illinois; Curtis Waguespack and wife, Jennifer Pitts of Lee’s Summitt, Mo.; Michael Waguespack and wife, Tricia of Yorkville, Ill.; two daughters:  Marie Lynch and husband, Jason of St. James, Mo.; and Effie Welch and husband, Dave of Parker, Co.; one brother, Roland Waguespark of Biloxi, La.; one sister-in-law, Sherry L. Waguespack, of 

Bourg, La. and ten grandchildren: Dawson Lynch, Dayton Lynch, Dionna Lynch, Hannah 

Waguespack, Daniel Waguespack, Liam Waguespack, Zoe Waguespack, Luke Welch, 

Finn Welch, and Kayla Spratt along with other relatives and a host of friends.

Preceding Sedric Waguespack in death are his parents: Marcial and Marie Melancon Waguespack; two brothers: Curtis and Nolan Waguespack; three sisters:  Dee Dee Chauvin and two infant sisters:  Betty and Virlie Waguespack.

Sedric was a very kind and loving father, grandfather, and friend.  He was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed having coffee with his friends.  He loved hunting and fishing, and he passed on his love of nature to his children and grandchildren.

He spent a lot of time watching the deer in his backyard.  Sporting events was another love of Sedric’s hobbies.  During his senior year of high school in 1963, he was first in the state for the mile run.  He was also a New York Yankees fan and New Orleans Saints fan.  Being from Louisana, he loved cajun cooking, and he catered many events.
