Scott Christopher Allen, age 45 of Inver Grove Heights, MN passed away Sunday May 2, 2021.
Scott was born on January 15, 1976 in St. Paul to his parents, Ken and Sharon Allen. After graduating from St. Croix Lutheran in 1994, Scott found the love of his life in 1996 when he met his future wife, Terri Wintz, while the two were working together at Designer Selections in St. Paul. Scott later moved down the road to Inver Grove Heights and he and Terri would go on to tie the knot in September of 1998. The newlyweds would immediately get to work by raising their two beautiful daughters. Ellie and Lauren, and Scott took great pride in being the coolest girl dad that he could be.
If you knew Scott you knew he probably had a new hobby every time you saw him. He definitely kept his family’s life as interesting as could be. No matter what was going on, he was the funniest person in the room at all times. If making people laugh was an Olympic sport, Scott would be more decorated than Michael Phelps. And if you don’t believe me, go ahead and ask his good friend, Snoop Dogg.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Ken and his grandparents, George and Myrtle Weirick. He is survived by his wife Terri, his daughters, Ellie and Lauren (Kaedin), his brother Chad (Sarah) and his mother, Sharon.
Now it’s time to raise a toast to the life of Scott Allen with a good, old-fashioned, American yellow beer!
