Sally Ann Luhring was born September 15, 1958 at Steelville, MO, the daughter of Dean Luhring and Violet Ann Luhring, nee Grayson. She entered eternal rest on January 20, 2012 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, MO at the age of 53 years, 4 months and 5 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Violet Luhring; maternal grandparents May and Milford Schoen; and paternal grandparents John and Clara Luhring.
She is survived by her uncle and aunt, Glen and Shirley Grayson of Steelville, MO; cousins Lena and Roger Halbert, Roger and Kim Grayson and Alan and Wanda Grayson all of Steelville, MO; Missy and Drew Stubblefield of Cuba, MO; dear friend Darlene Setzer and caregiver Rita Rickets both of Steelville, MO; special cousin Edith Becker of Steelville, MO; other relatives and friends.
Sally spent her life in the Steelville area. She attended the Steelville Schools and graduated from the Steelville High School in 1976. Sally had attended the Faith Pentecostal Assembly Church in Steelville.
She developed a love for writing and expressed her talent in many epistles. She loved the open spaces and spent several years traveling throughout the states driving an “Eighteen Wheeler” transport truck.
Sally greatly enjoyed working in all crafts and created token gift packs each holiday season for her neighbors at Steelville Homes.
