Roy James Catlett, 69, of Potosi, MO passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at his home. He was born August 23, 1942 in Blackwell, MO to William Henry Catlett and Sara Christine Richardson Catlett.
Roy was an avid hunter and fisherman and was really good at getting his catch of fish. He was a talented artist and loved to draw. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to country music and working on the computer.
He is survived by two brothers, Michael Catlett and wife Anna of Cuba, MO and Edward Catlett of California; six sisters, Virginia Bailey and companion Jim of Steelville, MO, Margie King and Pauline O’Brien and husband Andrew all of Cuba, MO, Catherine Amos of St. Peters, MO, Gertrude Moses of Edmond, OK and Veronica Adams; brother-in-law, Robert Hodges of Festus, MO; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Joe Catlett; one sister, Elizabeth Hodges; and four brothers-in-law, Jack Adams, Jim Bailey, Bill Amos and Walter King.
It was his wishes to be cremated.
