Rosetta “Rosie” Anna Hubert, nee Callahan, of Sullivan, Missouri passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan at the age of 77 years, 10 months and 21 days. Rosie was born June 27, 1938 at Cherryville, Missouri to Arvel E. Callahan and Villia Emma Bryant Callahan. On August 6, 1955 at Cherryville, she was united in marriage to John Edward Hubert who preceded her in death.
Rosie was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, puzzle books and watching game shows. Most of all she loved her family and being around all of the children.
She will be sadly missed by her three sons, Edward Hubert and wife Mariann and Randy Hubert and wife Stevfaney all of Rolla, MO and Don Coplin and companion Laura of St. James, MO; five daughters, Debbie Harris and husband Steve and Donna Schonfield all of Cuba, MO and Jenny Ray and husband Eric of Steelville, MO, Sandy Huett and husband Steve of O’Fallon, MO and Vicky Thomas and husband Bud of Columbia, MO; three brothers, Clarence Callahan and Robert Callahan and wife Rosemary all of Cherryville, MO and Ray Callahan and wife Barbara of Steelville, MO; 2 sisters, Emma Williams of Cherryville, MO and Ima Hunter of Kirkwood, MO; sisters-in-law, Mary Harmon of Jerome, MO and Charlotte Gott and husband Phillip of Myrtle Point, OR; eighteen grandchildren, Tammy Harris and companion Tom, Joshua Harris, Jamie Hubert, Melissa Tumbleson and husband Alex, Christopher Schonfield and companion Anita, Sonya Straube, Jacob Huett, Bucky Thomas, Serenity Hubert, Jeremy Hubert, Mikayla Hubert, Eli Floyd Coplin, Courtney Garrison, Mandy Eckler and husband Christopher, Kristen Zumwalt and husband Steven, Amber Rose Davis, Kyle Ray and Charity Ray; eleven great-grandchildren, Ethan, Zachary, Dakota, Joseph, Monica, Damien, Nicholas, Kaden, Eugene, Luke and Cassandra; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John Hubert; infant daughter, Reta Hubert; son-in-law, Joe Schonfield; one grandson, John Hubert; two brothers, Gene and Junior Callahan; three sisters, Loretta Spearman and husband Jim, Lillie Hernandez and husband Pete and Nillia Callahan; sisters-in-law, Joan Callahan and Ruth Hanks and husband Charles; brothers-in-law, Frank Hunter, Kenneth Williams, Jess Hubert and wife Donna and Harold Kenneth Hubert and wife Doris.
