Roseann Eaton, nee Green, of Cherryville, Missouri went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the age of 89 years, 2 months and 20 days. She was born May 16, 1924 in Davisville, Missouri to Charles Hershel Green and Myrtle Leora Harris Green. On May 9, 1942 in Steelville, MO,  Roseann was united in marriage to Duel Esco Eaton who preceded her in death in June of 1983.


Roseann was a dedicated and hard working wife and mother who loved to cook for her family and friends. She spent many hours canning, making jelly, cooking pan fried chicken and baking good apple pies. She was a member of the Davisville Assembly of God Church and was also known as a witness for the Lord whether it was family, friends or acquaintances. She loved all of her family and they loved her very much.


She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Barbara Gregory and husband Lathan and Fern Setzer and husband Jerry all of Cherryville, MO; three grandchildren, Chris Richardson and wife Tamara of Granite City, IL, Angie Martin and friend, Kelly Edgar of Cherryville, MO and Joey Richardson and wife Jenna of St. James, MO; nine great-grandchildren, Adrienne and husband Trey, James and friend, Schreon, Andrea and husband Andrew, Allison, Anderson, Madison, Connor, Ainslee and Adalee; and one great-great-granddaughter, Leahanna; three sisters in-law, Judy Green of Cuba, MO,  Betty Green of Davisville, MO and Sylvia Green of Jefferson City, MO; other relatives and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Duel; infant daughter, Marjorie Marie Eaton;  three brothers, Cordell Green, Corbett Green and Glen Green and wife Jess; and two sisters, Delpha Brown and husband Harry and Virginia Brown and husband Howard.


The Family received friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.


Honored to be casket bearers were Dwight Brown, Stanley Eaton, Anderson Richardson, Roger Green, Sonny Eaton and James Martin.
