Ronald J. “Ronnie” Pete, 60, of East New Market passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at his home. He was born in Cambridge on July 22, 1953 and was a son of Roland Pete, Sr. and Betty Bradford Pete.
He is survived by his wife Wilma Pete of East New Market, two sons Michael “Shane” Pete and wife Megan of Laurel, DE and Scott Pete and fiancAC.e Heather Salyers of East New Market, a granddaughter that he was raising as a daughter Alexis Pete of East New Market, five grandchildren Madison Pete, Colby Pete, Cameron Pete, Carter Pete and Ethan Hoyle, a brother Roland Pete, Jr. and wife Susan of East New Market, three sisters Katherine Truitt and husband Joe of Cambridge, Karen Phillips and husband Eddie of Cambridge, LaVerne Bell and husband Danny of East New Market and several nieces and nephews. Ronnie is preceded in death by a brother Steve Pete.
