Obituary
Robert “Bob” Connor passed away on September 18, 2018 at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Connor of Lake St. Louis, Missouri. He is survived by his children Dan (Christine Linnemeyer) Connor of O’Fallon, Mo. Julie (Bob) Burgess of St. Charles, Mo. and John (Sherry) Hoffman of St. Ann, Mo.; sister, Joan (Glen) Shaw of LaPorte, IN.; brother, Don Connor of Granite City, Il; 7 grandchildren, Crystal (Steven) Rinkel, Steve (Kristi) Elliott, Heather (Kevin Linebaugh) Hoffman, Nikki (Paul) Buehrle, Alison Viehman, Austin Fischer, Ashley Law; 10 great-grandchildren, Haley, Lily, Paiten, Rylie, Chase, Derika, Lucas, Oli, Tobin, Kenlee and his beloved cat Gracie. He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Ruth Connor and his children, Bill Hoffman and Jo Ann (Mark) Viehman. Bob was a member of Teamsters Local Union No. 688 and retired from truck driving in 1998. After moving to Lake St. Louis in 2000. Bob enjoyed retirement through all the things the community offered. He enjoyed cruising the big lake in their pontoon boat and participating in the LSL Pontooneers, Anglers Club and Thursday night cook out group. Bob was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dardenne Prairie. Bob loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bob enjoyed getting together with friends, visiting with family and celebrating the holidays. He was a food connoisseur and couldn’t resist a great piece of meat. Bob was loved by his friends and family and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
