Obituary
Robert L. McCarty Sr. passed away on April 6, 2018 at the age of 81. Foritfied with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church. He is survived by beloved wife Veneta McCarty nee Moseley of Wright City, Missouri; son, Kevin (Lori) McCarty of St. Louis, MO, daughter, Kimberly (Frank) Novak of Old Monroe, MO, son, Robert “Spanky” (Bobbie) McCarty Jr. of St. Charles, MO; daughter, Michelle “Shelley” (Tim) Busalacki of Las Vegas, NV, daughter, Sharon Fischer of St. Charles, MO, daughter, Karen “Sissy” Wuelling of Winfield, MO; two sisters, Ida Hollander of St. Charles, MO, Linda Perry of St. Peters, MO; 11 grandchildren, ; and 6 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Warren Luther McCarty, mother, Nellie Elizabeth McCarty nee Barnes, brother, Ernest McCarty. Bob cherished 61 years of marriage to Veneta. Bob served our country in the Marines Corps. He enjoyed model trains, model cars, and collecting coins. He was an avid nascar fan, he loved his trips to Talladega. There are also fond memories of camping at Montauk State Park. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
