Richard “Dick” E. Fosburg

Age 81, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013. He was born on February 12, 1932 in Ionia County, MI the son of Roy and Ruth (Badder) Fosburg. Mr. Fosburg was a lifelong farmer in Orange Township, and was also a lifelong musician. Dick taught countless children drum lessons, was an original member of the Ionia Community Band, and was a percussionist in several bands around the state. Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Carol; son, David. Surviving are his children, Douglas Fosburg, and Linn (Tom) Plett, both of Ionia; grandchildren, Tim (Carrie) Plett, U.S.A.F., Adam, Samuel and Thomas Plett of Ionia; great grandchildren, Kylie and Titus Plett; sister, Janice Corbett.
