Obituary
Raymond Weinzerl passed away on September 8, 2018 at the age of 78. He was the beloved husband of Shirley Weinzerl nee Sontag of Wentzville, Missouri; He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Marie (Douglas) Richard of O’Fallon, MO: daughter-in-law, Karen Weinzerl of O’Fallon, MO; three granddaughters, Christina (Brian) Burkemper, Jennifer Weinzerl, Mandy (Matthew) Heering; two grandsons, Jeffrey (Mandy) Weinzerl, Jacob (Sarah) Richard; 6 great-grandchildren, Emily, Linsey, Elijah, Brooke, Bella, and Ethan; He is preceded in death by his father, Edward John Weinzerl, mother, Celeste Weinzerl nee Wagner, son, Donald James Weinzerl, son, Daniel Jeffrey Weinzerl, brother, Edward John Weinzerl. Ray cherished 58 years of marriage to his beautiful wife Shirley. He was retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Ray enjoyed gardening (particularly tomatoes), tracking the local gas prices for his friends and family, and had a great sense of humor. He was an avid Cardinal baseball fan. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
