Ray Edgar, 85, of Warren, MN, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine, MN.
Ray H. Edgar was born on November 26, 1923 in Warren, the son of Irving and Helen (Godel) Edgar. Ray was a life long resident of the Warren community where he graduated from Warren High School. He served in the US Navy during WWII where he was stationed on the USS Long Island in the Pacific Ocean. On March 2, 1950, he married June Hamrick in Fosston, MN. They made their home in Warren. Ray farmed and owned and operated March Liquid Fertilizer Company.
He was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church, Warren American Legion Post #27 and the National Rifle Association.
