Randy Dean Asher of Cherryville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at the age of 54 years, 11 months and 10 days. He was born December 24, 1958 in Steelville, Missouri to William Asher and Hazel Worley Asher. In 1984 at Steelville, MO, he was united in marriage to Amy Hawthorne who survives of the home.
Randy worked for thirty-three years installing flooring and carpeting at his business, Asher’s Flooring, and presently worked at Meramec Electric in Cuba. He was president of the Cherryville Ammo Club.
He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and working with wood. He was considered a “master of all trades”. Randy loved people, especially his family and grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Amy Asher of Cherryville, MO; two sons, Josh Asher and wife Diona of Cherryville, MO and Jacob Asher and fiance’ Emily Lada of Steelville, MO; and one daughter, Jessica Conaway and husband Scott of Steelville, MO; two brothers, Robert Asher and wife Wanda of Cherryville, MO and Fritz Asher and wife Ann of Belle, MO; seven sisters, Bonnie Jones, Judy Dicus, Karen Sikes and husband Rob all of Steelville, MO, Wanda McMillen Silsbee, TX, Tina Asher of Springfield, MO, Linda Dodd and husband Bill of Cuba, MO and Cathy Tucker and husband Brian of Salem, MO; sisters in-law, Lindel Asher, Linda Hawthorne and Donna Hawthorne all of Steelville, MO and Audrey Simpson and husband Earnie of Imperial, MO; ten grandchildren, Justus, Jewel, Jorja and Jasper Conaway, Kirsten and Seth Webb, Rhyleigh, Isabella, Clara and Emma Asher; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Billy, Johnny and Ronald Asher; one sister, Louise Solis; and brothers in-law Louis Dicus and Melvin Cox.
The Family received friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
