Yarmouth-Ralph Leslie Doughty “Bud” passed on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 after a brief illness. He was born on May 23, 1932 in Portland, Maine. He was the son of the late Cynthia and Kendrick Doughty. After his mother’s passing, Bud grew up in the care of Hattie and Bertha, who loved him very much.

Bud spent 45 years on the railroad where he met lifelong friends. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, he enjoyed time up to his camp with friends fishing the brooks and hunting. He was an Honorable United States Marine Veteran of the Korean War and a proud member of the Am vets, Free Masons and American Legion. Many would find him tending to his gardens in the past few years, always leaving space for others to plant. Bud would often volunteer for Bean suppers and working for Meals on Wheels.

His wife Jean of 35 years, Two Sons, Ralph Leslie Doughty, Jr “Rick” and Steven Doughty. His brother Roger Doughty.

Survived by, his two sisters, Pauline Alward and Carlene York. His grandsons Ralph Leslie Doughty III “Tyler” alongside his longtime girlfriend Danielle Riesold and Richie Colgan. Ricks widow Susan Doughty and several nieces and nephews.
