Peggy Joyce Jones Martin, of Pascagoula, MS passed away March 19 th , 2023, surrounded by family members on the feast of Saint Joseph who is known as the patron saint of departing souls. She was a kind and giving soul with an infectious smile. She will be missed and remembered by the many lives she helped and touched.
She was preceded in death by her late husband C. C. “Bill” Martin. They were married May 12 th , 1949, and lived most of their lives in Pascagoula, MS where she was a traditional wife while supporting Bill with his business.
Peggy is survived by her four children: Linda Ethridge (John), of Vancleave MS; Eddie Martin, of Pascagoula MS; Charles Martin (Marie), of Mobile AL; and Gene Martin (Stephanie), of Mobile AL. She is also survived by grandchildren: Michael Ethridge (Arinne), Katie Ethridge, Dominic Martin, Chris Martin, Aaron Martin, Rachael Martin Smith (Harrison), Chloe Martin, Nickolas Martin, Michael Martin, Collin McAdams, and Sarah McAdams.
