Patricia Ann Vandergrift, age 81, of Pascagoula passed away on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022 at her home. She was born November 24, 1940 in Okolona, Mississippi. She was a former employee of Ingalls Shipbuilding for over 40 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Vandergrift; father, Kirby Travis Wise; mother, Jimmie E. Wise; son, Farris Todd Griffin; three brothers, James “Pep” Wise ,Travis Wise, Jr., and Gaylon Wise; sister, Jeanette Forrest.
Patricia is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, John Tate Griffin (Kathleen), San Angelo, TX; Timothy Griffin (Carol), Escatawpa; sister, Carolyn Bunt (Virgil), White Oak, TX; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Wise, Bartahatchie, MS; Brenda Wise and Dee Wise, both of Okolona, MS; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends; special friends, Marsha Hnat, Mr. James Blackwell, Phyllis McCormack; special caregiver and longtime neighbor, Anita D. Williams.
