Orville Malachi “Ky” Calloway, Jr., age 78, of Pascagoula, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. He was born on July 4, 1944 at the Mobile General Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. Ky retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding as a Senior Planner after over 30 years of employment. He loved camping, traveling, fishing, golf, hunting with his brother-in-law, and especially his family. He loved the University of Alabama football…..ROLL TIDE!!
He is preceded in death by his father, Orville M. Calloway, Sr; mother, Mary (Hart) Calloway McLeod.
Ky is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy; three sons, Matthew (Barbara)Calloway, New Orleans, LA; Mark Calloway, Pascagoula; Michael (Mary) Calloway, Mobile, AL; three grandsons, Christian Calloway, Mobile, AL; Austin Calloway, Mobile, AL; Johnathan Calloway, Ocean Springs, MS; one granddaughter, Alexandria Calloway, Pascagoula; two sisters, Sherry Calloway Stewart, Hurley; Cindy McLeod Gilchrist (John), Chunchula, AL.
