Ollie Mae Cunningham of Steelville, MO, formerly of Bourbon, MO passed away Monday, July 15, 2013 at Gibbs Care Center at the age of 88 years, 11 months and 10 days. She was born August 5, 1924 in Siloam Springs, AR to Delloes Mathew Kreis and Nannie Lee Denton Kreis. On March 25, 1944 in Farmington, MO, she was united in marriage to Glenn E. Cunningham who preceded her in death in 1980.


At a young age of eight and influenced by her father who was a minister, Ollie accepted Christ. She was very involved in many church activities, serving as a camp director at the South MO Baptist Camp in Van Buren, teaching Bible school for many years and singing in a quartet with her husband, sister and brother in-law. Ollie was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Bourbon, MO.


Before she married she was a teacher for a few years. She enjoyed working at a florist in Sullivan for several years. In her spare time, she loved to quilt.


She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn Cunningham; one son, Gary Cunningham; one brother, William L. Kreis and wife Doris; one sister, Antionette Williams and husband Jesse; and brother in-law, Carl Collar.


The Family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Bourbon, MO.
