Nadine Storms
Passed away peacefully April 15, 2020. Preceded in death by her husband, Darrell and her son, Dean. Survived by her sons, Douglas (Karen) and Daniel (Gerardina); grandchildren, Tim (Tiffany), Scott (Cindy), Jeff (Vera), Jessi (Josh); and great-grandchildren, April, Kiley, Jeff (JJ), Gio, Patrick, Skylar, Joost, and Esmee . Born July 26, 1925, Nadine grew up in Altoona, IA. She met Darrell when he was home on leave from the US Merchant Marine Academy. After WWII, Nadine and Darrell married, built their home in Wayzata and lived there for 60 years. She loved Wayzata and after the kids left the nest, she became very active in the city and in community outreach. Her wonderful witty sense of humor always made everyone around her laugh. She was the family’s bright star in the sky. While she will be deeply missed, we take comfort that she is now happily together with Darrell and Dean.
