FAYETTEVILLE, GA formerly of HOLLY SPRINGS, MS- Mrs. Gloria Jean Isom Boateng, 54, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at her home in Fayetteville, GA. She was born on October 24, 1962 in Marshall County to the late Floyce Isom, Jr., and Delcine Wilson Isom. A 1980 graduate of Sand Flat High School, she received a bachelor of science in biology from Rust College. She received her certification in cytotechnology and worked at LabCorp in Tucker, Ga. and Burlington, N.C., for 20-plus years. She was a member of New Life Presbyterian Church in College Park, Ga.
