Maryliss Mae Etlick, the daughter of Mae (Peters) and Alvin Kinetz was born on October 27, 1930 in Isanti County. She attended school and graduated from Park Rapids High School in Park Rapids, MN.
On October 24, 1946 she and Robert Etlick were united in marriage and resided in Marble, MN. They later moved to Pengilly, MN where they lived for 22 years. She worked as a cook and as an RN for the handicapped. She and Robert moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where they owned a hotel for some time. They then moved to Lincoln City, OR where they retired in 1999. After Robert died in 2001 Maryliss moved to Williams, MN where she lived with her daughter Gail. She recently moved into the Lakewood Care Center in Baudette.
Maryliss enjoyed auctions, rummage sales, gardening, watching soap operas, canning, and baking.
