Mary Jane Miller passed away on June 15, 2018 at the age of 90. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Miller; She is survived by her two sons, Mark (Christine Richards) Miller of Kirkwood, MO, and Michael (Cynthia) Miller of Cape Giradeau, MO; two daughters, Renee’ (Bruce) Keeler of O’Fallon, MO, and Michelle “Mimi” (Trace) Deckard of Wentzville, MO; three brothers, Charlie Raftery, Raymond Raftery, and Gregory Raftery; six grandsons, Grant (Emily) Griffey, Eric (Amanda) Griffey, Kyle Miller, Kurt Miller Jake Keeler, and Blake Deckard; five granddaughters, Erin Miller, Elizabeth Miller, Haylee Deckard, Rylee Deckard, and Avree Deckard; She is preceded in death by her parents, Slyvester and Lillian Raftery, husband of more than 50 years, Ralph Miller, brothers, Lawrence, Emmett, Joseph, Jerry, Richard “Dickie”, and James Raftery, sisters, Catherine Gray, Lillian Rankin, and Winiferd Raftery. She was an active participant in the Senior Olympics for over 20 years and held multiple gold medals and distance records. Her gentle spirit found peace and joy in the wonders of God’s creation and in the many hours of laughter she shared with her Red Hat sisters. Mary Jane was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. The library of her life held many books; chapters on joy and loss, volumes on love and family, and pages filled with words written by those who loved her. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.
