Mary Elouise Crocker passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 30, 2021 in Philadelphia, MS surrounded by family.
Mary Elouise Crocker was born to James Joseph and Nealie Victoria Davidson on December 15, 1935 in Leake County Mississippi. Being the youngest of ten children, is preceded in death by seven brothers: Clayton, Eugene, Willie, Carlton, Luke, Herman, Melvin and two sisters: Amanda Pauline Graves and Josie Ray.
On November 8, 1968 she joined in matrimony with Carroll Jerland Crocker, in Jackson County Mississippi. Completing the family was daughter Linda Dianna McLemore. For forty-four years the three of them continued in mutual love for each other and lived a spirit filled life that glorified God. On November 26, 2012, father and husband, Carroll, departed to his eternal home in heaven.
Mary lived the majority of her life in service to her family as a homemaker to her husband and as a devoted caregiver to her daughter Linda. Mary is survived by daughter Linda and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mary and family attended The Sanctuary Pentecostal Church while living in Pascagoula, MS. After moving to Neshoba County, she joined with the congregation of New Zion Pentecostal Church. Reverend Randall Dunaway and assistant pastors: Rev Darrin Powell and Rev. Jason Martin, has ministered to the needs of Mrs. Crocker and Linda since their arrival in Neshoba County.
The family would like give special thanks to her niece, Shelby Benson and family, for administering to her needs while living with them in their Neshoba County home. Family member, Clara Benson’s assistance in their loving caring during her final months is greatly appreciated. When she became incapable of making her own financial decisions, nephew Greg Davidson filled that roll until his death in 2020. In 2020 that roll was assumed by nephew, Ricky Graves. Each of these allowed her to have peace of mind in her final days.
